Alison Walker Beirlein, the daughter of James and Deborah Beirlein of Northville, was united in marriage to Christopher Morgan Barkley, the son of Michael Barkley of Charlotte, N.C., and the late Treva Barkley, at 7 p.m. June 23.
The ceremony and reception took place aboard the Spirit of Carolina, Charleston, S.C.
The matron of honor was Katharine DeBoard of Cartersville, Ga., sister of the bride.

The best man was Michael Barkley of Charlotte, N.C., father of the bridegroom.
The wedding weekend began on Friday with a historic walking tour and luncheon, hosted by the bride and bridegroom. On Friday evening, the groom's father hosted the rehearsal dinner at 82 Queen.
A wedding trip took place in Folly Beach, S.C., and Savannah, Ga. The couple resides in Jersey City, N.J.
The couple also received guests in Northville in July at the home of the bride's parents.
The bride, who is the granddaughter of Virginia Bradt, the late Howard Bradt and Jack Rudd, Vivien Beirlein and the late Robert Beirlein, all of Northville, is a 1997 graduate of Northville Central School. She received a bachelor's degree in finance from Nyack College in 2000 and is employed by SunAmerica Asset Management.
The bridegroom, who is the grandson of the late Lee and Maggie Morgan of Salisbury, N.C., the late Marcel and Eleanor Courvoisier and the late Albert Barkley, all of Charlotte, N.C., is a 1995 graduate of Independence High School and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1999. He is employed by Lord, Abbett & Co.
