GLOVERSVILLE - Forresters Club members collected clothes and had 100 teddy bears available for sale during their Keep the Children Warm fundraiser on Saturday night.
Donations arrived before and during the event, and the members sold 50 bears prior to the 7 p.m. start of the fundraiser.
All the donations collected will be combined with Nathan Littauer Hospital's Gingerbread Project and given to local children.
Member Madeline Lynsky said the club conducts fundraisers throughout the year, and on Dec. 9, the members will collect donations for Gina Como-Raheb, whose house in New Jersey was damaged during Hurricane Sandy in late October.
The club also will host a Christmas breakfast and party on Dec. 15.
Families are invited to join the members and Santa Claus for the breakfast event at the Forresters Club, on East State Street extention, east of Gloversville.
