SCOTIA - In coach Joe Morrison's debut, the Johnstown wrestling team posted a 51-30 win over Scotia-Glenville in a Foothills Council match Wednesday.
The Sir Bills won nine of 15 weight classes on their way to the win.
Troy DeBlock (132 pounds), Josh LaLonde (152), Patrick Morrison (195), Garrett Hadcock (220) and Joe Nellis (285) all won by pin for Johnstown (1-0 overall, 1-0 Foothills).
Austen Manchester added a 6-1 decision over Scotia-Glenville's Jeffrey Chiarello in the lone match to go the full six-minute distance.
Nathan Dutcher (113), Jeremy Meher (120) and Austin Brand (170) won by forfeit for the Sir Bills.
Kyle Merritt (138), Cody Cooke (145) and Shawn Leonard (160) won by pinfall for Scotia-Glenville (0-1 overall, 0-1 Foothills), while Jli Rivera-Lathrop (126) added a forfeit win.
There was a double forfeit at 106 pounds.
