Thanks for helping out The Project

November 26, 2012
The Leader Herald

I first want to say that I would like to give a big thank you to the following businesses in their help with our Save our Project Program 2012. Without these businesses, this program would not be possible.

Nickleback Bottle & Can Return Center of Johnstown, Whitey's of Johnstown, Hot Dog Hut of Johnstown, Something Special of Johnstown and Stuffable Creations of Johnstown.

Also, I would like to thank the Johnstown Public Library for allowing us to use your facility, despite our low attendance. Without you, The Project would not be possible. Also, I would like to thank the Gloversville Public Library for allowing us to use your facility, even if it is only for three months. Without you, The Project would not be possible. I would like to thank those people who donated to our SOPP 2012. Now, as a special thank you, look for our Friendly's voucher (which started Oct. 31) that is being given out through Dec. 31. Don't lose them because this is a huge fundraiser for us on Feb. 5. This is our Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) Meet-'n-Greet the Board of Directors night. However, we will be giving out Friendly's vouchers at our special events throughout the rest of 2012 and 2013 season. The last Friendly's voucher will be given out on Jan. 2, at our Board of Directors training and meeting at the Johnstown Public Library from 6 to 8 p.m. Details are forthcoming. So, come and support us. The vouchers will be available at these locations: Nickleback Bottle & Can Return Center in Johnstown, Whitey's of Johnstown, Hot Dog Hut of Johnstown, Something Special of Johnstown, Stuffable Creations of Johnstown, and Johnstown Public Library on Dec. 9 and Jan. 2 only.

There will be no vouchers at the Friendly's Restaurant in Johnstown. Thank you and have a happy holidays.

If you want more information or if you want to join, call me at 736-1587 or e-mail us at TheProject12095@hotmail.com.
