Paul’s career high leads Eagles to win

BOSTON - The Green Mountain College women's basketball team used a strong second half performance to edge out the College of Staten Island in Sunday's consolation game of the Emerson Tip-off Tournament at Brown-Plofker Gym.

For her contributions to the team over the two-day tournament, Green Mountain senior Chelsea Paul, a Northville graduate, earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

The Eagles were led by Paul who had a game and career-high 34 points along with four rebounds and three assists.

Host Emerson College, took the Tournament Championship by beating Mount St. Mary's College 54-43. At the conclusion of the Tournament the All-Tournament Team for this weekend was announced.

Green Mountain (1-1 overall) will host Newbury College in a non-conference matchup Nov. 27 at 7 p.m.
