FMCC men win Alfred State tourney

ALFRED - Aaron Morton scored 34 points, was named tournament MVP, leading the Fulton-Montgomery Community College men's basketball team to a 102-98 win over Rockland County Community College on Sunday to win the Alfred State Tournament championship.

Tyshawn Dinkins scored 12 points for the Raiders (6-3) and Andy Irizarry added 11. Tishaun Mann scored 10 points.

Tommie Starkes scored 29 points, as three Rockland players scored more than 20 points. Jayson Quijada scored 25 points and Marcus Cruz added 223. Justin Guzman had a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds.
