ITHACA - Fonda-Johnstown's Erica Askew placed 17th in the 100-yard breaststroke at the New York State Public High School Athletic Association swimming and diving championships at Ithaca College.
Askew, a junior, qualified 16th in the preliminaries with a time of 1:08.47. Askew posted a time of 1:08.89 in the B final, which also placed her 17th in the Federation Championships.
Olivia Chan won the NYSPHSAA and Federation titles in the 100 breaststroke, posting a time of 1:02.83.
