AMSTERDAM - Golf carts were found Monday morning to have had their batteries stolen at Amsterdam Municipal Golf Course, according to city police.
The batteries for 26 carts, valued at roughly $100 apiece, were reported stolen.
According to Detective Lt. Kurt J. Conroy of the city Police Department, the batteries were stolen sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.
Police had not made an arrest as of Thursday afternoon.
There was no visible damage indicating a break-in at the building where the carts were stored, police said.
Amsterdam Muni officials were not available for comment.
