GLOVERSVILLE- The Gloversville Enlarged School?District Board of Education accepted at its meeting Tuesday the three-year permanent probationary appointment of a new fourth-grade teacher at Boulevard Elementary School.
Jenna Palmieri has replaced Brian DiPasquale, who resigned after 10 years with the district last month, as a full-time fourth-grade teacher.
She previously was a second-grade teacher at Piseco School, which no longer exists, Boulevard Principal Thomas Komp said. Her annual salary will be $39,596.
She began her new position on Oct. 31 and worked along with the substitute teachers for two days to ensure a smooth transition, Komp said.
