WATERTOWN - Derrick Williams scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Jefferson Community College to a 69-58 win over Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a Region III men's basketball game Tuesday.
Jefferson led 36-31 at the half and outscored the Raiders 33-27 in the second half to earn the win.
Ryan Tomlin posted 12 points, nine rebounds and two steals for Jefferson (3-2 overall), while Damien Jackson added 10 points.
Jefferson was 24-for-30 from the free throw line, while FMCC was 12-for-18.
Andy Irizarry and Darius Ward each scored 11 points for FMCC (3-2 overall).
The Raiders will host SUNY-Delhi on Thursday at 7 p.m.
