PERTH -A town man was charged by Fulton County sheriff's deputies today with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.
Deputies said Robert E. Fisher Jr., 46, of 4223 Route 30, Amsterdam, was charged following a family offense at 2:10 a.m. at his residence.
Deputies said he struck a family member who had an order of protection against him.
Fisher was arraigned in Town Court and sent to the county jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail pending further court action.
