As a registered Republican, I recently received a letter from Mitt Romney requesting a donation to fight off President Barack Obama.
I responded with a $3 donation - only on the condition Romney first donate all the funds it was recently disclosed he had hidden in off-shore accounts - to help in the fight.
A short time later, I received a reply thanking me, which also said Romney would appreciate more help from me. But it made no mention of my conditions.
I resigned my membership as a Republican.
