Regarding a recent letter to the editor from Shelly VanNostrand, in defense of Ralph VanAlstyne: Mr. VanAlstyne is a convicted thief who is serving time in prison for theft.
I'm moved to inquire what this thief did with the thousands of dollars he stole from various veterans organizations? Burn it?
What makes you think if he were free he would be able to earn enough to repay the theft?
It seems to me that NBT bears some responsibility in this mess also, as it didn't enforce the "two signatures" required for withdrawals.
