GLOVERSVILLE- A 19-year-old girl crashed her car into a house on Kingsboro Avenue while intoxicated and was arrested, city police said.

Elizabeth M. Clampet, of 100 S. Perry St., Johnstown, was charged by city police Saturday with driving while intoxicated.

City police said officers, the Fire Department and the Ambulance Service of Fulton County responded to 216 Kingsboro Ave. on Saturday night. A black 2006 Nissan Sentra had jumped the curb, crossed the sidewalk and ran into the front of the residence, police said.

Police said the residence sustained an undetermined amount of damage from the accident and additional charges also are pending.

Police said Clampet was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

Clampet, the only occupant of the vehicle, was found behind the wheel complaining of injuries related to the accident, police said.

She was transported to Nathan Littauer Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

After being released from the hospital, she was processed and released from custody with appearance tickets for City Court.
