GLOVERSVILLE - City police on Friday arrested a man accused of trying to steal some choice cuts of beef.
Police said Todd L. Heroth, 47, of 10 Briggs St., Johnstown, walked out of the Price Chopper supermarket on North Main Street with three porterhouse steaks in his coat.
He was charged at 3:21 p.m. Friday with petit larceny after the incident, police said.
Heroth was issued a ticket to appear in City Court on Nov. 26 and was released.
