OPPENHEIM - An Ephratah man was sent to the Fulton County Jail Wednesday after allegedly harassing staff at Oppenheim-Ephratah Central School and assaulting a sheriff's deputy.

Fulton County sheriff's deputies said Jeffrey A. Frasier, 34, of 5426 Route 29, was charged at 2:45 p.m. at the school, 6486 Route 29A.

He was charged with trespass, harassment, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.

Deputies said Frasier was at the school, harassing staff and was asked to leave. When deputies arrived, officers said, he refused to leave or cooperate with deputies who were attempting to arrest him. Deputies said Frasier fought with an officer.

He was arraigned in Johnstown Town Court and jailed in lieu of $25,000 cash bail pending further action in Oppenheim Town Court.
