SYRACUSE - The Onondaga Community College men's basketball team opened its 2012-13 campaign over the weekend, going on the road to face two members of the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference. On Saturday, the Lazers opened the season with an 87-83 overtime win over Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville. Onondaga followed that with a 91-86 loss at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem on Sunday.
In Saturday's game, Tyler Wood, a Broadalbin-Perth graduate, finished with 13 points for Onondaga.
On Sunday, Wood had 11 points, eight assists and three steals for the Lazers.
