The Leader Herald

Debbie Van Curen of Broadalbin passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville, N.Y., after a long illness.

Debbie spent a very short time at the Hospice house in Gloversville but was cared for at home by the staff of Hospice. We thank them for their care, compassion and concern.

Debbie was a lifelong resident of the Providence and Broadalbin area. She worked many years at Nathan Littauer Hospital as a secretary at various departments.

Debbie loved her family; her dog, Teddy; and her three cats.

She was predeceased by her brother, David Seelow of Providence.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; son, Pete De Graff; and daughter, Keri-Ann Hall; her mother, Maxine Nadler; father, Leonard Seelow; three sisters, Dody Podolec, Darlene Abeling and Dawn Galarneau and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Aunt Noreen, thank you.

Burial will be at a later date. In keeping with her longtime wish, she entered the Anatomical Gift Program at Albany Medical College.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, Gloversville.
