JOHNSTOWN - In Fulton County Court on Friday, Edward J. Cotton, 53, of Wagners Hollow Road, Fort Plain, was sentenced by Judge Polly Hoye to six months in jail as part of a plea agreement.
In addition to jail time, he received five years of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine.
He pleaded guilty Aug. 17 before Hoye to one count of felony driving while intoxicated.
Cotton was charged Feb. 4 in the town of Ephratah.
