Choose four for court

November 3, 2012
The Leader Herald

On Tuesday, you will be asked to vote for four Republican candidates for state Supreme Court in the 4th Judicial District.

Judge Joseph M. Sise, who presently serves as a Supreme Court justice; Judge Felix Catena, who presently serves as Montgomery County Court judge and acting state Supreme Court justice; John Ellis, who presently serves as Family Court support magistrate in Warren and Saratoga counties; and Thomas Buchanan, who is currently an attorney with Hacker, Murphy Law Firm in Latham, are highly qualified to serve as a New York State Supreme Court justice and will fairly and honorably serve the citizens of the 11 counties that comprise the district.

They would not sit on the bench in just the county in which they reside, but travel throughout the district as needed. They have each displayed dedication to their chosen profession, as well as commitment to their families and communities. Each will bring an honest, fair and conservative approach to the court while at the same time respecting the rights of those appearing before them. They have all been endorsed by the state Republican Party and the state Conservative Party.
