JOHNSTOWN - Leaf and brush pickup for city residents will begin Thursday.
City Engineer Chandra Cotter said residents are encouraged to keep leaves from spilling out into roadways and thoroughfares so the city can ensure the safety of the travelling public.
The leaf/brush drop off on West Main Street is open to all city residents.
"We encourage residents to dispose of leaves and brush at that location until leaf and brush pickup begins Thursday," Cotter said.
