ABINGTON, Pa. - The SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country team captured their fourth consecutive North Eastern Athletic Conference championship Saturday by posting a score of 34 points at the league's cross country championships hosted by Penn State Abington at Lorimer Park in Abington, Pa.

Cobleskill had seven runners earn all-conference honors at the event while every one of the team's 12 participants finished in the top half of the 87-runner field.

"This was an extremely difficult course and we ran a great tactical race today to win this championship," Fighting Tiger Head Coach Mitch Tomaszkiewicz said in a news release.

Sophomore Rebekah Johnson, an Amsterdam High School graduate, continued to drive the Fighting Tiger attack placing second overall by covering the 5,000-meter course in a time of 21:55 to earn first team All-NEAC honor

Fighting Tiger head coach Mitch Tomaszkiewicz was named the league's coach of the year for the sixth time since Cobleskill joined the NEAC in 2008.
