Amy Ashline, the daughter of Margaret and David P. Ashline of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Ryan Havranek, the son of Carol Zaffarano of Rochester, at 3 p.m. June 9.

The ceremony took place in Amsterdam. The Rev. Bonnie Orth of Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church officiated.

The bride was escorted by her parents.

The matron of honor was April Beagley, sister of the bridegroom. The maid of honor was Lisa Miner, cousin of the bride. The bridal attendants were Kate Cromer of Johnstown and Mindy Rivenburgh of Broadalbin.

All four of the couple's blended children played a part in this ceremony:

The miniature brides and ringbearers were Kyla Lucille B. and Brenna Yvonne B. The flower girl was Amara Grace B. Miya Lynn H., 8 months old, who was a crowd entertainer with her wave as she was escorted down the aisle by Rose Havranek, sister of the bridegroom.

The best man was Stephen Young of Richfield Springs, Otsego County. The ushers were David A. and Jeff Ashline, brothers of the bride; and Kevin Phillips of Richfield Springs.

A reception for about 100 guests took place at The Raindancer Steak Parlour, Perth.

A wedding trip took place in Key West, Fla. The couple resides in Johnstown.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Johnstown High School and is enrolled in the Herkimer Board of Cooperative Educational Services full-time adult licensed practical nurse program.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Richfield Springs High School and is studying pre-veterinary sciences through Fulton-Montgomery Community College and the State University of New York at Cobleskill, Schoharie County.
