BROADALBIN - After earning a narrow 1-0 win over 14th-seeded Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk on Friday, the Broadalbin-Perth girls soccer team posted a much more convincing 5-0 win over 11th-seeded Schuylerville on Saturday.
Katie Herba finished with three goals and an assist for B-P, while Kyle Gifford and Victoria Marotta also scored. Ashley Vosburgh added an assist for B-P.
"We did a better job finishing tonight," B-P coach Rob Klug said. "We knew we would have tired legs tonight, but so would they. It took a little while for us to get going, but once the girls got focused they gutted it out."
