Many helped out walk

October 26, 2012
The Leader Herald

A drizzly rain failed to dampen the spirits of the 36 people participating in the Jack "Bulldog" Schreivogl/Twin Cities Crop Walk for hunger on Sept. 30. Donations solicited from these walkers will help fill local food pantries so those who hunger will be fed in our community and around the world.

The Council of Churches in Gloversville and Johnstown sponsors the event annually, and Grace Lutheran had the privilege this year.

It takes the efforts of many to achieve a successful result, and out heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who contributed in any way. A sincere thank you to:

The great news is more than $7,000 was raised as a result. Thanks to all.
