Class generous with club

October 26, 2012
The Leader Herald

To the Gloversville High School class of '61:

Thank you so very much for your donations and for your support of the Boys & Girls Club of Gloversville, serving the youth of Fulton County. The generosity of the Gloversville High School class of '61 is going a long way toward making it possible for us to continue to provide a safe, productive and positive program during those critical after-school hours for the students at Park Terrace Elementary School.

Park Terrace Elementary School is in the forefront of providing programs that address the needs of its students. The school's endorsement of the Boys & Girls Club program is just one indication of its dedication to the students.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is "to help youth of all backgrounds with special concern for those from disadvantaged circumstances, develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders."

With the continued support of your incredible class and the support of the school district and the community, we will be able to continue to promote the social, educational, health, leadership and character development of youth during critical periods of their development at both of our sites - Park Terrace Elementary School and the DuBois Garden Apartments Community Room.

Please accept our most sincere gratitude for your generosity. It truly is making a difference the lives of our youth.

RUTH K. DRAKE, chairwoman

and the Board of Managers

Boys & Girls Club of Gloversville
