GREENVILLE - Marcel DuPuis scored all three goals to lead Greenville to a shutout win over Fonda-Fultonville, 3-0, in the opening round of the Class B tournament.

David Johnson had an assist for the third-seeded Spartans.

Matt Snow made just one save to post the shutout win for Greenville, which outshot 14th-seeded Fonda-Fultonville 14-1 and finished with 9-4 edge in corner kicks.

Tyler Folmsbee made six saves for the Braves.

Fonda-Fultonville finishes its season with a record of 2-13-1.

Greenville will host No. 6 Schalmont in Saturday's quarterfinals at 3 p.m.

Class A First Round

Averill Park 2,

Amsterdam 1

AVERILL PARK - Mac Hoyt and Owen Nuss scored to lead Averill Park to a win over Amsterdam in the opening round of the Class A tournament.

Miles Joyce had an assist for the eighth-seeded Warriors.

Andrew Druziak scored the lone goal for ninth-seeded Amsterdam.

Brandan Westfall made four saves for Averill Park.

Jared Weissman made nine stops for the Rams.

Amsterdam finished its season with a 6-10-1 overall record.

Averill Park (6-10 overall) will face top-seeded Albany Academy (13-2 overall) in the quarterfinals Saturday at 3 p.m. The Cadets received a bye in the first round.
