COBLESKILL - The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team rebounded from a first set loss and a six-point second set deficit to rally past the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts for a 3-1 victory by set scores of 21-25, 26-24, 25-14 and 25-22 in non-conference play.
With the victory the Fighting Tigers improve to 14-16 on the season while MCLA falls to 9-18 overall. The Cobleskill victory total is the most by the program since its move to the NCAA Division III level of completion in 2008. The Fighting Tigers best previous mark had been a 13-14 season in 2009.
Junior Amber Baker, a Johnstown graduate, had a match-high 12 kills to go with seven digs and four aces for Cobleskill.
