Candidate aids community

October 25, 2012
The Leader Herald

I am writing today to show my support for my friend, Traci DiMezza, in her campaign for City Court judge.

I have known Traci personally for a few years as a fellow member of the Miss Fulton County Board of Directors. Traci's intelligence, creativity and hard-working attitude are just a few of the qualities she brings to our organization year-round. With her strong dedication and commitment, you can count on Traci to follow through with any task she volunteers for or is asked to complete.

With all of those qualities, Traci also volunteers her time and talents with a smile and good-natured sense of humor.

Professionally, I know Traci through Gloversville Middle School. This year, she implemented a Stand Up to Bullying Club at our school. Each month, a few students from each grade level were nominated by their teachers for their work to combat bullying.

Traci treated those students to a special "SUB" lunch with the principal and herself. It is not often that we are able to reward children for doing something right, but Traci's program allowed that opportunity and has made an impact on our student body.

Please be sure to vote on Nov. 6 and consider Traci DiMezza for City Court judge.
