Congratulations on your tenure as a "journalist." It's one thing to not like something a coach says or does on the field, but your "breakdown" of the situation is unprofessional.
Nobody was asking for an apology from Broadalbin-Perth's boys soccer team for winning a game. Nobody is taking anything away from that team or its accomplishments.
For you to insult a team of teenagers is absurd. If you have a problem with Coach Hill, that's your problem. These kids work their tails off every day. They don't stop when the season ends. Some of them go all year long, traveling to Albany to play, with a dedicated coach.
Who are you to say you hope they don't enter the Section II Class B Tournament? What an ignorant thing to suggest. And then you say they're not going to go anywhere if they do? For some of these boys, it's their last year to play with this group who they've been playing with for years. Win or lose, they deserve to play in sectionals because they work together as a team. The same can be said for every Sir Bills/Lady Bills team. These kids play with integrity; feel free to Google the term to familiarize yourself with it.
Don't ever question the commitment these boys have for their teams, and don't ever question Coach Hill's commitment to his team. You didn't just bash a coach, you bashed an entire community.
