FAIRPORT - In its tuneup for the North Eastern Athletic Conference cross-country championships the SUNY Cobleskill women's cross country team posted a team score of 286 points to place 10th overall in a field of 12 teams at the 2012 New York State Collegiate Track Conference Meet hosted by Nazareth College at Center Park in Fairport on Saturday.
Cobleskill sophomore Rebekah Johnson, an Amsterdam graduate, was the team's top finisher placing 31st overall in the field of 143 runners by covering the hilly 6,000-meter course in a time of 24:19.85.
