Boys Soccer Roundup: Keene edges Wells, 2-1

WELLS - Brandon Dumas scored two goals, leading Keene to a 2-1 Northern Soccer League victory over the Wells Indians on Thursday.

Dumas was assisted by Gabe Warner and Jeff Bruha on his goals. Cotton Venner made five saves for Keene.

Levi Colsen scored with about 15 minutes remaining in the game for the Indians (5-7 overall, 5-7 NSL) off an assist from Blaine Elemendorf. Ben Brenan made four saves.

The Indians will learn who their next opponent will be after today's Section VII seeding meeting.

Mekeel Christian 2, Schoharie 1

SCHOHARIE - Tai Aderounmu had a goal and an assist, leading Mekeel Christian Academy over Schoharie.

Kenny Aderounmu also scored a goal for the Lions (10-2-1 overall, 10-2-1 WAC).

James Sacket scored for Schoharie (6-8-1 overall, 6-6-1 WAC) and Justin Montione made five saves.
