BURNT HILLS - The Amsterdam girls tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in the semifinals of the Section II Class A Tournament.
Nicole Kellogg, Sarah Drexinger, Hannah Schrader, Morgan Schrader and Meghan Heck won singles matches for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake.
In doubles play, Jackie Baumann and Kristen Parker won at No. 1 doubles for the Spartans, while Morgan Bachus and Caitlin O'Brien won at No. 2 doubles.
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will face Albany Academy in the championship match. Albany Academy reached the finals with a 4-3 win over Holy Names on Wednesday.
Amsterdam finishes its season with a 14-2 overall record.
