Boys Soccer Roundup: Scotia-Glenville downs Johnstown, 3-1

JOHNSTOWN - Owen Fingar, Country Moran and Eric Denny scored to lead Scotia-Glenville past Johnstown, 3-1, in a Foothills Council boys soccer contest Tuesday.

Dennis Turner had an assist for Scotia-Glenville (13-1-1 overall, 9-1-1 Foothills), which out shot Johnstown 29-6.

Elijah Hill scored the lone goal for Johnstown (3-11 overall, 1-10 Foothills), while Brandon Spaid had the assist.

Andy Camarra made 22 saves for the Sir Bills.

Queensbury 5, Glens Falls 1

QUEENSBURY - Five different players scored as Queensbury posted a Foothills Council win over Glens Falls.

Liam Mulshine had a goal and two assists for the Spartans, while Chris Goodemote had a goal and an assist. Jimmy Doty, Hayden Fitzgerald and Christopher Locaputo also scored for Queensbury (7-8 overall, 6-5 Foothills), while Taylor Neil and Kade Kirby each had an assist.

Nate Didio scored the lone goal for Glens Falls (3-12 overall 2-9 Foothills).

Pat O'Mara made seven saves to post the win in goal for Queensbury, while Gabe Alagna made eight stops for Glens Falls.

WAC

Berne-Knox-Westerlo 3, Canajoharie 0

BERNE - Taylor Repscher scored twice to lead Berne-Knox-Westerlo past Canajoharie.

Nick Nagengast also scored for the Bulldogs, while Adam Forti and Maclin Norray each had an assist.

Trevor Haack made three saves to post the shutout win in goal for Berne-Knox-Westerlo (8-6 overall, 6-6 WAC).

Zach Bowerman made six saves for Canajoharie (5-9 overall, 4-8 WAC).

Northern Soccer League

Schroon Lake 7, Wells 1

WELLS - Matt Michienzi scored the only goal for Wells in a loss to Schroon Lake.

Levi Colson had an assist for the Indians.

Ben Brenan had 12 saves in goal for Wells (5-6 overall).
