I had occasion to visit the emergency room at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville due to what, thankfully, turned out to be a minor injury.
It had been several years since I, as an out-of-town visitor, had needed medical services in this area. I was, frankly, amazed at the drastic improvement in the facilities and care.
Littauer - and in particular the ER staff - is clearly on a par with our hometown facilities in Naples, Fla., and this region should be truly proud.
