Brett R. Rumrill, age 32, of Ephratah, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at home after being stricken.
He was born in Amsterdam on December 9, 1979, the son of the late Mal Rumrill and Bonnie Nicosia Rumrill of Johnstown, who survives.
He was a 1998 graduate of Johnstown High School and was employed with Fage Dairy.
He was a member of the Johnstown Loyal Order of Moose and enjoyed fishing, camping, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Amber Dwyer Rumrill, whom he married on October 20, 2007; his son, Noah Rumrill; sister, Billie Jo Rumrill of Johnstown; nephew, Nicholas Intonte of Johnstown; niece, Brittany Fosmire; great-nephew, Landon Fosmire-DeRocker; longtime best friend, Matt Abete.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
