Betty J. Case, age 80, of Gloversville, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Capstone Center for Rehab & Nursing, Amsterdam after a long illness.
She was born in Gloversville on September 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Frank Phillips and Hulda Caldwell Phillips.
She was a graduate of Gloversville High School.
Mrs. Case was employed at the Amsterdam Printing and Litho until her retirement in 1996.
She was a former member of the Gloversville Moose.
On July 13, 1957, she married Richard M. Case and he died on August 20, 2005.
Survivors include her children, Cindy Case of North Greenbush, Richard J. Case of Gloversville and Sandra Case of Gloversville; her brother, John Phillips of Mayfield; and a sister, Eleanor Phillips of Utica; seven grandchildren nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no calling hours.
Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Amsterdam Hospice.
