GUILDERLAND - The Sage College's men's golf team competed on Friday at the first round of the College of Saint Rose Fall Shoot Out held at Pinehaven Country Club.
The Gators stand in 10th place through the first of two rounds with a 340, while Division II Concordia College is in first after firing a round of 312 on the par-71, 6,574-yard course.
Leading the way individually is Concordia's Sam Deitte, who is one-under-par with a round of 70.
Sage's leading player was junior Richie Christman, a Johnstown graduate, who shot an 80. Senior Shane Kiselis, an Amsterdam graduate, carded an 87 for the Gators, while freshman D.J. Ioele, Johnstown graduate, posted an 88 for Sage.
