Fo-Jo swims past Amsterdam 103-53

AMSTERDAM - The Fonda-Johnstown girls swim team won all 12 events on its way to a 103-53 win over Amsterdam at Lynch Literacy Academy on Wednesday.

Erica Askew (100-yard freestyle, 100 breaststroke), Hannah Palsgraf (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly), Cecelia Mowrey (500 freestyle, 200 individual medley) and Meghan Bartlett (1-meter diving, 50 freestyle) all won two events for Fonda-Johnstown.

Kayla Woodman also won the 100 backstroke for Fonda-Johnstown, which also won the 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays.

Justine Youngs finished second in the 100 breaststroke and 500 freestyle for Amsterdam, while Kayla Dzikowicz was second in the 100 freestyle and 50 freestyle. Gulianna Pritchard was second in the 100 backstroke for Amsterdam.
