Mayfield boys push win streak to eight

DUANESBURG - Dylan Toscano and Jordan Ryder each netted a hat trick to lead Mayfield to a 6-0 win over Duanesburg in a Western Athletic Conference boys soccer contest Wednesday.

The victory was the eighth straight for the Panthers.

Josh Ivancic finished with three assists for Mayfield (8-3 overall, 7-3 WAC), while James Winsman and Toscano each had one assist.

Ryan Hennessy and Luke VanNostrand combined to make three saves to share the shutout win in goal for the Panthers, who outshot Duanesburg 22-3.

Zach Wissenbach made 14 saves for the Eagles (1-9-1 WAC).

Mayfield will host Fort Plain on?Friday at 7 p.m.

Northville 1, Middleburgh 1

NORTHVILLE - Tyler Henderson scored for Northville in a tie with Middleburgh in a Western Athletic Conference contest.

Jimmy Grega assisted on the goal for the Falcons, who outshot the Knights 23-14.

Sean Green scored the lone goal for Middleburgh (3-6-2 WAC).

Tim Monette and Dylan Spencer combined to make eight saves for Northville (7-3-2 overall, 5-3-2 WAC).

Nick Righi made 13 saves for Middleburgh.

Galway 2, Berne-Knox-Westerlo 0

GALWAY - Ryan Pappalau scored twice to lead Galway past Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Josh Bailey and Tyler Goergen each had an assist for the Golden Eagles (9-1 overall, 8-1 WAC).

Berne-Knox-Westerlo slipped to 6-6 overall and 4-6 in WAC play with the loss.
