On behalf of the Gloversville Neighborhood Watch Group, we wish to extend our appreciation to the Gloversville Common Council and to those city departments who are providing the funding for signs to be purchased for the Gloversville Neighborhood Watch Program.
A special thank-you to lst Ward Councilwoman Robin Wentworth for suggesting the purchase of these signs at a recent meeting of the council.
Anyone who is interested in starting a watch group in their neighborhood can call us at 773-7296 to receive information on how to get things started.
Our next meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. today in the employee lounge at City Hall. We urge people to take the first step in their neighborhood and join us at this meeting and become involved in this very important cause. All extra "eyes" and "ears" from residents who want to give back something to their community are needed to help keep our city safe for our children and grandchildren.
