FONDA - The Fonda-Fultonville boys and girls cross country teams posted impressive victories over Watervliet in a Colonial Council meet Tuesday.
Both teams won by scores of 15-50.
In the boys' meet, the Braves swept the top 10 spots on their way to the win.

Tyler Angioli won the 3-mile boys race for FFCS, covering the course in a time of 17:02. Matt Hoffman (17:02) was second for the Braves, while Jimmy Westman (17:14), Cameron Gilligan (17:35) and Omijah Piening (18:02) finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
Also finishing in the top 10 for FFCS were Dalton Hunter (sixth, 18:24), Dylan DeSorbo (seventh, 18:26), Jake Shave (eighth, 19:53), Damion Freeman (ninth, 20:03) and Cole Wozniak (10th, 21:50).
Evan Tambolleo placed 11th with a time of 22:17 to lead Watervliet.
Also finishing for the Braves were Jason Kotz (12th, 22:49) and Danny Westman (13th, 22:56).
In the girls' meet, the Lady Braves swept the top five spots on their way to the win.
Jamie Kasza won the 3-mile girls race for FFCS, finishing with a time of 19:07.
Kim Geniti (20:42) was second for the Lady Braves, while Kacie Hunter (22:39), Carly Littlejohn (22:40) and Samantha Phelps (23:04) placed third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
Hallie Mainville led Watervliet, placing sixth with a time of 23:44.
Mayfield boys top BKW
BERNE - Tom McClellan posted a time of 18:12 to lead the Mayfield boys to a 26-29 win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo.
Berne-Knox-Westerlo's Dominic Woodmansee was second with a time of 19:16, while BKW's Lukus Becker was third with a time of 19:33.
Mitchell Akowicz (19:45) was fourth for Mayfield, while Josh Gallup (20:41) was fifth.
Ryan Bumpus (sixth, 21:08) and Brent Gray (ninth, 22:26) also posted top-10 finishes for the Panthers.
Other Mayfield finishers included Tom Steele (12th, 24:44), Luke Cole (14th, 25:07) and Cody Horowitz (16th, 26:20).
In the girls' meet, both Mayfield and Berne-Knox-Westerlo fielded incomplete teams.
Allie Tedeschi won the 3.1-mile girls race, finishing with a time of 22:07.
Mayfield's Lidija Nikollaj was second with a time of 22:41, while Mayfield's Sarah Montgomery was third with a time of 23:08.
Mayfield's Allie Miller (24:15) was sixth.
C-FP boys lose to Mekeel Christian
SCOTIA - Jacob Urys posted a time of 14:32 on the 2.8-mile course at Indian Meadows to lead Mekeel Christian Academy to a 20-38 win over the Canajoharie-Fort Plain boys. Saratoga Catholic and Cherry Valley-Springfield also competed in the meet by didn't score against C-FP.
Jordan Ahrens led Canajoharie-Fort Plain, placing third with a time of 15:19.
Also posting top-10 finishes for C-FP were Austin VanAvery (sixth, 16:52) and Ruben McFarlane (seventh, 17:18).
In the girls' meet, C-FP, Cherry Valley-Springfield and Mekeel Christian all fielded incomplete teams. Saratoga Catholic fielded the only complete squad.
Saratoga Catholic's Ella Gurney won the 2.8-mile girls race with a time of 18:57.
Canajoharie-Fort Plain's Abby Boyer was second with a time of 21:27.
Alexis Kane (22:09) was fourth for C-FP, while Catie Corrigan (23:39) was sixth.
AHS boys, girls lose to Bishop Gibbons
AMSTERDAM - The Amsterdam boys and girls both dropped decisions to Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons, while the boys posted a win over an incomplete Bishop Maginn squad.
In the girls' race, Bishop Gibbons posted a 26-30 win over Amsterdam.
Talya Williams won the 2.6-mile girls race for Bishop Gibbons, finishing with a time of 16:30.
Amsterdam's Megan Ottati (17:05) was second and Bishop Gibbons' Lillina Matala (17:25) was third. Amsterdam's Deb Johnson (17:39) and Illenis Quinones (17:45) were fourth and fifth, respectively.
Also posting a top-10 finish for Amsterdam was Chantel Dopp, who placed eighth with a time of 18:19.
In the boys' meet, Bishop Gibbons swept the top five spots to post a 15-46 win over Amsterdam.
Matt Lange won the 2.6-mile boys race for the Golden Knights, posting a time of 14:01.
Nick Raponi was Amsterdam's top finisher, placing sixth with a time of 14:37.
Matt Raponi (seventh, 14:50), Lucas Chico (ninth, 15:35) and Josh Turo (10th, 15:44) also posted top-10 finishes for the Rams.
