FONDA - Diana DiCocco scored five goals to lead Schalmont to an 8-0 win over Fonda-Fultonville in a Colonial Council girls soccer game Tuesday.
Alexandra Cardinals, Nicole Cuttita and Julia Rossi also scored for the Lady Sabres, who won the state Class B title last season.
Taylor Gould made two saves to post the shutout win in goal for Schalmont (12-0 overall, 12-0 Colonial), which has 11 shutouts in 12 games this season.

REMSEN - Erin O'Connor finished with four goals and two assists to lead Remsen to a shutout win over Dolgeville.
Joleen Marfone and Ashley O'Connor each had two goals and two assists for the Lady Rams, while Lizzy Swasey added a goal and an assist.
Megan Will made 17 saves to earn the shutout win in goal for Remsen (11-1 overall), the state's top-ranked team in the latest Class D poll.
Abigail Mosenthin made 26 saves for Dolgeville (3-7-2 overall).
