GLOVERSVILLE- Police said a city man was arrested early Saturday morning after an accident at the intersection of South Main and Broad streets.
Allen R. Florian, 27, of 519 County Highway 102, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08 percent and making an unsafe lane change.
Police said they located Florian standing next to his vehicle after it struck two utility poles and came to rest in the center of the intersection.
Police said an investigation revealed Florian was intoxicated and was charged with DWI after providing a BAC of 0.19 percent.
He was released and issued appearance ticket's returnable to City Court.
