GLOVERSVILLE - The city Department of Public Works will have a meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30, at City Hall, 3 E. Frontage Road, to discuss the proposed reconstruction of the Hill Street bridge, according to a news release.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform individuals, groups, officials and agencies about the proposed project.
The DPW - in cooperation with Fulton County, the New York State Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration - is developing construction drawings for the project. The projected construction work will begin in April 2014 and run into October of that year, the release said.
People should advise the DPW office if a sign language interpreter, assistive listening system or any other accommodation will be required to facilitate their participation in the public meeting, the release said.
