SCHENECTADY - Amsterdam's Cristiana Johnson won both of her matches Wednesday to advance to the singles final of the Big 10 girls tennis tournament at Central Park.
Johnson topped Catholic Central's Danielle Behunin (10-3) and Bishop Maginn's Courtney Lane (6-1, 6-1) to advance to today's final.
Johnson will face Schenectady's Rachel Fields in the title match. Fields advanced with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Amsterdam's Kristie Kaczmarek in the semifinals.
Johnson defeated Fields twice in their two regular-season meetings.
Kaczmarek won two matches to reach the semis.
In the doubles tournament, Amsterdam's Brittany Durose and Veronica Marsh will face teammates Ella Dybas and Audrey Flint for the title.
Both teams won two matches Wednesday to reach the finals.
The championship matches are slated to be played today at Central Park.
