KINGSBURY - The Gloversville golf team finished third Monday at the Foothills Council Tournament at Kingswood Golf Course.
Glens Falls won the team title with a total of 321, while Scotia-Glenville was second with a 326. Gloversville was third with a 331, Queensbury was fourth with a 344 and Broadalbin-Perth was fifth with a 352. Johnstown (358) was sixth, Hudson Falls (366) was seventh and South Glens Falls (370) was eighth.
Glens Falls' Alex Gibson had the low round of the day with a 70. South Glens Falls' Clark Leonelli (76) was second and Gloversville's Kevin Johnston and Glens Falls' Pat Round tied for third with rounds of 78. Gloversville's Josh Fonda and Scotia-Glenville's Mitch Forshey tied for fifth with rounds of 79.
Alex Bond led Broadalbin-Perth, finishing tied for sixth with a round of 80. Brett Getman posted an 85 for the Patriots, while Cody Husek finished with an 87. Noah Scott and Michael Schebel each finished with rounds of 99 for B-P, while Vinny Saj and Sean Craig each posted rounds of 104. Brent Bochenek added 106 for the Patriots.
James Snyder posted an 84 for Gloversville, while Mike Priolo added a 90.
