Christa Lyn Edwards, the daughter of Cindy Edwards and the late Michael Edwards of Wells, was united in marriage to Albert Gentile Jr., the son of Albert Sr. and Hiedi Gentile of Mayfield, at 1 p.m. Aug. 18.
The ceremony took place at St. Ann's Church, Wells. The Rev. Sony Pulickal officiated.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, William Stuart.

The matron of honor was Cinda Biron of Northville, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Amanda Reynolds, cousin of the bride. The bridal attendants were Erin Blanchard of Queensbury, Warren County, Corinna Gentile, sister of the bridegroom and Clarisa Stephens, both of Mayfield; Adele Gentile, Jenny Cerasia, and Ashley Cerasia, all of Gloversville, cousins of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Lily Biron of Northville, niece of the bride.
The best man was Nicholas Gentile of Mayfield, brother of the bridegroom. The ushers were Mitchell Edwards, brother of the bride, and William Biron, both of Northville; Jody Ruf Jr., Anthony and Matthew Cerasia, all of Gloversville, cousins of the bridegroom; Bryant Schur of Mayfield and Justin Boynton of Albany. The ringbearers were Coby and Byron Stuart of Wells, cousins of the bride.
A reception for 135 guests took place at the Beardslee Castle in Little Falls, Herkimer County.
A wedding trip was to California. The couple resides in Mayfield.
The bride attended Northville High School.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Mayfield High School and is self-employed.
