Meaghan Elena Gifford, the daughter of Kenneth and Paula Gifford of Bleecker, was united in marriage to Neil Vernon Cosselman, the son of David Cosselman of Bleecker, at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 30, 2011.
The ceremony took place at North Main Street United Methodist Church, Gloversville. The Rev. Christopher Hamm officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Francesca Gifford of Bleecker. The matron of honor was Nicole Marie Lowe of Hutchinson, Kans. The bridal attendants were Megan Hallenbeck of Amsterdam, cousin of the bride; and Elizabeth Cosselman of Bleecker, BethAnn Rockwell and Tara Cook, both of Johnstown.
The best man was Mark Cosselman of Gloversville. The ushers were Randy Cosselman of Rockwood, Brian Cosselman and David Livingston, both of Bleecker; Chad Stumpf of Pine Lake; and Matthew Lynaugh of Gloversville.
A reception for 250 guests took place at The Eagles Club, Johnstown and was catered by John Lomanto of Chef Lomanto's Restaurant, Gloversville.
A wedding trip to Maine is planned for July 2013. The couple resides in Bleecker.
The bride is an insurance sales representative at the Parker State Farm Agency, Johnstown.
The bridegroom is an assistant supervisor for Townsend Leather, Johnstown.
