AMSTERDAM - Rafik Mekaldi scored twice to lead Troy to a 2-0 win over Amsterdam in a Big 10 boys soccer contest Saturday.
Troy improved to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in Big 10 play with the win.
Amsterdam slipped to 4-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 in Big 10 play.
The Rams will travel to Catholic Central on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. contest.

DUANESBURG - Logan Sala scored both goals to lead Canajoharie to a shutout win over Duanesburg on Friday.
Karl Gustafson assisted on both goals for the Cougars.
Chris Deyette made eight saves to earn the shutout win in goal for Canajoharie (3-7 overall, 2-6 WAC).
Duanesburg slipped to 1-6-1 in WAC play.
